It does a great job. For a day of work, a full bucket for 25 liters.

I've been using the Zeni (12L model) for a couple months now. Our weather seems to have a personal vendetta against warm, dry days lately; weeks of constant rain, so having something to help with the laundry rack while remaining relatively portable has been so helpful.By "relatively portable", the 12L model is still a bit of a chunk; it sits at nearly 10kg, so you aren't exactly going to be carrying it around. However, it does have wheels and a handle, so rolling it from storage to the dining room is effortless enough.The controls are simple; everything is clearly labelled with plenty of buttons and status LEDs so you aren't left guessing or performing context-based gestures to get things working. I managed to figure out the timer settings within a few clicks without even glancing at the instructions. It has four modes, which basically vary the fan speeds, plus a "comfort" mode that attempts to be smart about adjusting humidity based on the ambient temperature.The fan on the turbo setting is definitely noticeable; it isn't a high-pitched whine or an oscillating UFO noise like I've found with other units, but rather just a steady whirr. It isn't unpleasant and the rest of the settings are quiet enough to be easy to live around too.Anyway, I mostly use it for the laundry mode. If you have a rack of wet clothes sitting in the middle of a room, this thing pulls moisture out of the air quite effectively. The water tank holds about 1.5L; once it hits the limit, the whole thing just shuts off until you empty it. It does have a continuous drainage option if you want to attach a hose, which is great if you are using it in a basement where you don't want to be constantly emptying a tank, but... I find the internal chamber works fine for my needs.One thing that was a nice surprise is the power draw; considering how well it pulls moisture and helps dry clothes, 270W hasn't made any noticeable dent in our electricity usage, which is always a bit of a worry with these appliances. It certainly beats the portable radiators we have used in the past.So, I'm pretty happy with it all things considered, specially when you have a kids that need their school clothes ready for the morning... while outside is dark and stormy at 4PM.

This diddy little dehumidifier doesn’t take up much space so can be tucked away when not in use. It has a couple of different modes depending on how you might wish to use it - from an everyday sort of operation, as well as a specific ‘laundry mode’ that sets it to work hard to dry nearby clothes more effectively.The dehumidifier can store extracted moisture in its internal chamber (and it will automatically shut off if it senses the chamber has become full) or you can attach a hose to have it run continuously. If you have a use-case where it might be helpful to run continuously then this hose option could be a boon of convenience.In operation it’s not as loud as I was expecting - especially just in its general mode. You know it’s on but it’s not particularly intrusive.For a price of c. £130 (at time of review) that seems OK for what you’re getting - its compact size and straightforward operational modes, combined with quiet operation give you a simple and effective device that just does what it is says without overcomplicating things.

I use it in my room after a shower. Also to speed up laundry drying. The product is robust, easy to set up and has a long cord.

Really nice build quality on this dehumidifier. It feels quite modern and the controls are easy to use and follow. The air genuinely feels much higher quality after running it, and there's peace of mind knowing the UV-C lamp is hopefully working against bad bacteria in the air. The washable dust filter helps capture particles too.The bucket is quite small compared to other dehumidifiers I've used, but you can always use the continuous drainage hose if that's a problem. Just run it to a drain and let it do its thing without emptying. The laundry mode is brilliant for drying clothes indoors, especially with this winter weather that doesn't seem to be fading away even though we're nearly in March.Quiet enough to run without it being annoying, and energy efficient at 270W. Removes up to 12 litres of moisture per day which is plenty for most rooms. Honestly, with the weather we've been having, I reckon having one of these on every floor would be ideal. Makes a real difference to how the house feels.
